The opportunity Start 2024 off with a great new role in marketing! We have a full-time opportunity for an organised and motivated marketing, communications, or engagement professional to join our national marketing team located in Pymble. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your career in a friendly team environment and an expanding company. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this full-time role offers you a broad scope of responsibilities. You will lead our important community education, outreach, sponsorship/partnership programs, and help execute our national marketing strategy. Your role includes implementing a range of marketing, communications, education and engagement programs and campaigns to grow patronage and improve customer experience. You are friendly with an incredibly positive attitude, have a love of writing for print and digital channels, are organised and have creative flare with great attention to detail and strong coordination and negotiation skills. You know how to prioritise work and have willingness to learn. You willingly complete marketing administrative tasks and roll up your sleeves to help others. Ideally you have experience in delivering school or community engagement/education programs as well as marketing campaigns to achieve results. This position will be pivotal in achieving marketing goals during an exciting time of brand revitalisation and growth, so the ability to work closely within a small team, drive projects forward and bring stakeholders along for the journey is necessary. About the role In the marketing team, your top priority is to ensure community and customers are informed and educated and your campaigns contribute to building our brand. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage, coordinate, and improve our community education programs Manage community sponsorship and support Collaborate on development of new management solution for community programs Consult with stakeholders with confidence and maturity Develop and implement marketing campaigns Research to support marketing activities Assist in planning and running eventsThe role will vary with a range of duties and we are looking for someone who is super organised and can bring fresh ideas.Criteria The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications, a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following: Exceptional organisation, multi-tasking, and time management skills Can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership and responsibility Strong interpersonal skills, and track record as a team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Excellent writing skills with understanding of audience and channels Strong analytical skills and computer literacy Bachelor's degree in marketing,communications or relevant experience NSW drivers' licence Permanent Residency or Australian CitizenshipAbout Busways Busways is a leading multi-state passenger transport provider.
