Business Events (BE) Perth is the peak industry body responsible for marketing Western Australia as a destination for national and international conventions, corporate meetings and incentive travel groups.
We are looking for a self-motivated, focused, goal oriented individual with a high level of attention for detail to join our Marketing team.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the development and execution of BE Perth’s marketing and communications initiatives, in line with the objectives and KPI’s of the organisation.
The role aims to assist in the discovery of market-driven understandings to support the development of targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at enhancing the State's reputation as a premium business events destination and driving business event opportunities.
What you'll do…
- Support the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and website optimisation strategies to enhance the State's reputation as a premium business events destination.
- Leverage data from GA/CMS/CRM systems to gain understandings into the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Assist with the development and coordination of the organisation’s annual marketing and communications plan.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns to optimise effectiveness and drive continuous improvement, maximising business event opportunities for the state.
- Prepare relevant award submissions / grants and report on milestones.
- Produce relevant reports that highlight competitor trends in the national and international business event and destination marketing space, to inform and influence future marketing and communication tactics aimed at increasing business event opportunities.
- Conduct client mapping to ensure cohesive tailored messaging for each client group and undertake consumer testing of marketing assets.
- Take direction from the Director Marketing on the development of marketing materials, including but not limited to web copy, business event and related impact studies, convenor profiles, digital marketing assets and EDMs.
