We are looking for a fabulous individual to join our office team as a Marketing Officer.
About the Role
This is a challenging, fast paced and rewarding role!
The role is FT, 38 hours per week. Work hours are flexible.
On occasion, events may occur on weekends and evenings.
The Marketing Officer is primarily responsible for:
Development and implementation of an annual Marketing Plan.
Creation of media content incl. video's, publications, social media posts.
Coordinating and promoting MADEC events and client experiences!
Development and implementation of an annual Community Development Plan.
Managing the MADEC website.
Preparing grant and funding applications.
General administration.

What do we need from you?
Min. Cert III Business or similar
Min. 12 months experience in a similar role
Experience in digital design and networking is highly regarded
Experience working with people with supporting individuals incl. youth, persons with a disability or persons with mental health is highly regarded
A genuine passion for supporting people
A willingness to participate in further education and training
Ability to work autonomously or within a team
An individual that values human rights, community, excellence, trust and empowers people to be their best.
Hold a current Queensland Driver’s Licence (Provisional Licence holders welcome)
Current working with children check and NDIS Worker Screening
