Temporary full time opportunity to coordinate and support Multidisciplinary Meeting Teams involving Cancer Services, acting as a central point of communication for all administrative aspects.

About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to coordinate and support Multidisciplinary Meeting Teams involving Cancer Services, acting as a central point of communication for all administrative aspects. This includes the organisation and facilitation of meetings in addition to the collection and entry of patient data into relevant information systems. To promote and apply administrative policies and practices; recommend changes and revisions to enhance efficiency and quality of service delivery.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of patients for presentation at the Multidisciplinary meetings utilizing hospital scheduling systems and / or Queensland Oncology Online (QOOL).
  • Ensure all patient information required for discussion at the Multidisciplinary meeting is available and timely by informing appropriate departments of results required and locating / collecting patient records.
  • Ensure documentation actions identified during the Multidisciplinary meetings are completed in designated time frames, including GP / referring practitioner feedback, by liaison with the relevant Multidisciplinary Team member.
  • Ensure easy access to stored information by developing and maintaining recording and filing systems
  • Provide additional administrative support as required by the work unit.
