Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for robotics and automation? IR4, a leading company in the Advanced Manufacturing Industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
What is required for this position
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at IR4, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge automation systems for our customers across a range of industrial sectors. We are looking for someone with:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a small team.
- Attention to detail with strong design and drafting skills using 3D modelling software (preferably SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of materials, surfaces finishes, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in linear motion, gearboxes, motors and pneumatics systems design is desirable.
Additional experience in the automation industry, a trade background in manufacturing and/or fabrication, and proficiency in other areas such as robotics and machine design are a plus.
