Our client looking for a Mechanical Drafter work on resources projects across Australia and South East Asia from their CBD office in Melbourne. This would be a great opportunity for someone who does not previously having resource project experience but would like to break into the in sector. Of course, if you have some experience in the resource sector that will be fine.
This position is open to a Mechanical Drafter of various experience levels. Some previous professional experience is essential.
Our client is an engineering consultancy that works on resources projects across Australia and South East Asia. The company has been running for 9 years and has experienced recent growth which is why there is a requirement for this position. They have a good company culture and they are well lead. They provide a variety of services to the resources industry, including but not limited to structural, electrical and mechanical design consulting.

Responsibilities:
- Mechanical drafting on fabrication projects
- Manage daily tasks in an efficient manner
- Liaise with other engineering departments
Required Skills:
- 2+ years previous experience as a Mechanical Drafter
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience working on Fabrication Drawings
- Good work ethic and openness to working in a contract position
- Inventor experience (essential)
Job Types: Full-time, Subcontract
Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
