Form of workWe are a specialist clinic in Kent Town is seeking an enthusiastic reception staff member to join our busy team.
The position is casual with the option to go permanent part-time for the right person.
A few of the duties but not limited to the position will include:
Meet and greet patients on arrival
Answer telephone calls in a courteous manner
Make patient appointments
Process patient claims, Medicare and Health Fund billings
Handle general administration work e.g processing and responding to faxes and emails, scanning documents, arranging hospital admissions
Preparing the clinic for the day
Previous Medical Reception experience not essential but looked upon favourably. We are happy to provide training for the right candidate. A knowledge of Genie software is also advantageous.
Essential criteria:
Excellent communication skills
Good customer service skills
Strong work ethic and capacity to learn quickly in a busy environment
Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality
Excellent at working as a team player and following instructions
Must be able to work at a fast pace and deal with high pressure situations
MUST be able to work flexible hours from between 7.30am-6pm
Must be available to cover sick leave and holidays.
