AddressMedical Receptionist - Goolwa Medical Centre
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join the friendly team at our busy practice. The successful applicant will commence 30 - 38 hours p/w on a casual basis with the intention of permanency after the review period.
Shifts will vary slightly from Monday - Friday, and will include one late shift commencing at 10.30 am to 6 - 6.30 pm and a Saturday morning shift from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm every 3 - 4 weeks. (rotating roster)
In this role, the successful candidate will provide front desk support to a team of General Practitioners. The successful applicant will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Reception duties at a busy front desk including attending to phone calls, face to face enquiries and welcoming patients in a pleasant and friendly manner.
- Scheduling patient appointments accurately and efficiently using our practice management software.
- Patient billings, invoicing and receipting.
- General administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, copying etc
- Back up reception and administrative support for the new Goolwa Medical Hub will also be required.
Previous experience using medical software is desirable but not essential.
