About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be at the forefront of our busy clinic, handling the day-to-day administrative operations in collaboration with several other receptionists. In our medical facility, we cultivate a dynamic environment that prioritises a supportive culture where team members are encouraged to thrive and succeed. We're looking for a candidate who will enthusiastically embrace our collaborative ethos and play an active role in enhancing our vibrant workplace atmosphere.
We are looking for someone to work 3 - 5 shifts per week and who can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service and patient care.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment calendars.
- Collect and process payments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Ensure the facilities are kept neat and tidy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- previous customer service and/or administration experience
- experience working in the healthcare sector (desired)
- excellent written and verbal communication
