About us
Providence Medical Belmont is a small, private medical practice looking for a casual receptionist to join our team. We are a preventative health clinic with one fulltime GP, three part time GP's and a practice nurse. The ideal candidate will be positive & friendly with a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone that thrives in a team environment, but is also capable of working unsupervised at times. Experience with Best Practice & HotDoc software would be beneficial. The candidate must be available to work Saturday mornings and be flexible enough to cover sick and annual leave.
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate lll in Business Administration (Medical) preferred but not essential. Willing to train the right applicant
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience with Best Practice software would be beneficial
Tasks & responsibilities
- Booking appointments and recalling patients for results
- Greeting patients, managing waiting room and taking calls
- Processing billings and payments
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Electronic scanning, filing and faxing
