Form of workWe are a busy orthopaedic practice, looking for a part time medical reception star to join our front desk team 2 days per week on a Monday and Friday to help with the running of our weekly clinics, with the flexibility to be able to pick up additional shifts as needed. Mondays and Fridays are an essential requirement of this role, and are non negotiable.
The job role will involve general administrative duties, face to face meeting and greeting of patients, answering phone calls, taking patient bookings, assisting with theatre bookings and confidently handling and directing patient enquiries to the appropriate management and clinical team where necessary.
Previous experience in medical administration and using medical practice software is essential.
We are after a quick thinking details person, who is time conscious and knows how to prioritise tasks whilst smashing through their workload. It will be absolutely essential that you are able to triage and appropriately handle tasks and enquiries relevant to what is urgent and what's less urgent.
