About the Role
As a receptionist at the practice you are the first point of contact with our patients, so we value an enthusiastic, friendly, professional person who can greet our patients in a warm, welcoming manner. Working in a medical setting, this role also requires a person who respects and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
You will have
- Excellent communications skills
- Proficient computer skills - Knowledge of Best Practice an advantage
- Have a strong ability to move efficiently from one task to another
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of information at all times
- Ability to work as a casual receptionist with flexible hours between 8.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (actual requirements to be discussed with applicants) and occasional Saturday mornings
This Medical Receptionist position involves:
- Welcoming patients to the Practice, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments.
- Answering phone calls and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- General administrative duties such as collating patient details, scanning, faxing, documenting messages and following up patient enquiries.
- Liaising with our doctors and nurses to meet patient needs.
- Processing payments and billings.
