About us
Newcastle Family Practice is looking for a new team member. If you want to be part of a friendly, patient focused and supportive front line team we would like to hear from you. We are a busy general practice located in Newcastle CBD. Our practice consists of a team of dedicated doctors, both male and female, and two practice nurses. The ideal applicant will be required for a minimum of 3-4 days per week.
Qualifications & experience
- Medical reception experience is desirable though not essential
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team
- Organised
- Strong work ethic
- Use of Best Practice (desirable though not essential)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide ongoing best practice primary health care to the community
- Work as part of the reception team and general administrative processes
- Liaise with both front desk manager and clinical staff for ongoing quality improvement
- Provide exceptional patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Ensure processes and systems are in accordance with National Standards
