SalarySpecialist Medical Practice is seeking a casual Medical Receptionist (approx. 20 hours per week) to join our boutique team. The successful applicant must be well presented and have a positive and professional attitude towards assisting our patients.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
- Greeting patients.
- Practice accounts and invoicing.
- Scheduling patient bookings with hospitals, imaging and other stakeholders.
- General phone enquires.
- General medical administration including typing medical correspondence.
- Assist with minor medical procedures.
Skills
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Fluent communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Report to and take direction from the practice manager and the director.
The applicant must be flexible with hours and be available at short notice to cover sick and annual leave. Please note that only those applicants short listed will be contacted for an interview.
