Medical Receptionist

A thriving, well-established Medical Practice in Bondi Junction is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist for a part-time permanent or casual position, for a minimum of 2 or 3 x 5/6 hour shifts per week, including Thursday and Friday afternoons.

Medical Receptionist:

Responsible for providing first class customer service to our patients, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and effective time management.  Your responsibilities will include: 

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Booking appointments
• Answering a high volume of calls and emails
• Managing and updating the practice database, including billing patients 
• Liaising with our GPs as well as external clinicians and providers 

What we are looking for:

• Customer service and/or administrative experience
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly attitude
• The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail
• Computer literacy - intermediate MS Office skills and an aptitude for learning new software
• A highly professional work ethic with compassion and commitment to patient care
• An ability to work well within a diverse team

Previous medical reception experience is desirable, however we are willing to train the right applicant.

We need someone who is available to work shifts on a minimum of two to three days per week (must include Thursday and Friday afternoons) - ideally you will also have the flexibility to cover other shifts if needed.

You will be supported by a progressive and highly professional team and work alongside experienced and dedicated medical practitioners.
