Our Lumus Imaging team in Toowoomba are on the lookout for a Medical Receptionist to join them on a Permanent Full Time basis. Toowoomba Diagnostic Imaging is a private Radiology company that provides a range of medical imaging services including CT, Ultrasound, General X-Ray, OPG and BMD services.

As Medical Receptionist your key priority is to provide the best service and care to our patients. Your day to day responsibilities involve a variety of clerical duties, including the provision of exceptional customer service including: patient registration and billing, booking appointments, Medicare claims, completion of work summary, batching and medical typing of Radiology reports.

You will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, referring practitioners and work colleagues and want to work as part of our motivated, flexible, and close-knit team.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

• Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
• Make radiology exam bookings
• General Clerical Duties
• Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
• Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
• Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
