Australian Doctors Clinic Kallangur is seeking Medical Receptionists to join our team. We are open to casual or permanent contracts. Rostered hours will be weekdays only, applicants must be available to work 8am to 530pm.
We are an established, family orientated general medical practice, committed to providing patients with the highest standard of care possible. We are focused on delivering superior administrative support to our clinicians and patients and building a welcoming and friendly environment.
The successful applicants will have minimum 12 months experience in general practice using Best Practice software.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
• welcoming and greeting patients, their families, staff and visitors in a prompt, welcoming and helpful manner, both in person and on the telephone.
• managing files and patient information to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• liaising with all patients, their families, visitors, external companies and all practitioners/staff in a professional, respectful and courteous manner.
• collecting, organising, and redistributing any incoming communications (phone, fax, mail, email) promptly and to the appropriate persons.
• undertaking scanning, faxing, importing, and photocopying tasks when required.
• maintaining a well organised, clean, efficient and confidential workspace and assisting with end of day cleaning, tidying and restocking.
• communicating with a diverse range of health professionals.
• Medicare billing, private billing, DVA and insurance claims accounting.
