Our small and friendly team is committed to excellence and patient satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're currently seeking a versatile and driven individual to fulfill the role of Medical Receptionist. In this pivotal position, you'll contribute significantly to the seamless operation of our practice. Operating Monday to Friday, with one rostered day off per month, this role offers a starting rate of $28-$35 per hour, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Appointment and Surgical Booking Management
- Facilitating Communication with Healthcare Providers
- Handling Administrative Tasks with Precision
- Upholding a Clean and Organised Work Environment
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Demonstrated organisational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive within a small team dynamic
- Proficiency in computer literacy, ideally with familiarity in Genie software
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Previous exposure to billing Medicare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and Private Health Insurance is advantageous
