Salary- Answer telephone and email enquiries: excellent grammar, professional composition and spelling required for emails, internal communications and management of correspondence with patients and third parties.
- Make and confirm patient appointments (computerised) in both Genie medical software and also Booksteam. Transfer of bookings into Genie from Booksteam.
- Apply all deposits and payments to the patient charts in Genie.
- Set up files for new patients
- Prepare quotes for patients following consultation
- Organise theatre/hospital bookings for patients, Hospital & Anaesthetists
- Surgical pack creation. Follow up & advise patients regarding surgery
- Prepare and receipt patient accounts
- Cleaning of and maintain to the high standards of hygiene the non-clinical areas of the clinic
Privacy & Security, Patient confidentiality, Patient record management: Ensure required levels of privacy, security, and patient confidentiality at all times.
CME data collection and reporting for the Doctor
Have full practical understanding of customer/patient needs, and manage to ongoing improvement in customer satisfaction.
Required Experience and Attributes
- Advanced EXPERT CURRENT use of GENIE software & extensive experience essential
- At least 2 years experience working in a similar position within a private surgical specialist clinic
- Ability to engage potential patients when they call for information
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly and proactively within a small team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills for the smooth management and co-ordination of patient bookings, clinic emails and telephone enquires and co-ordination of Day Hospital and Specialist Anaesthetists
- A flair for genuine customer service and marketing: presentation, personal interaction and telephone manner demonstrating the best combination of professionalism with a warm, caring personal style.
- A strong ethic of responsibility, reliability and able to work independantly.
