About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to support the doctors and clinical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice and provide an exceptional standard of care to their patients.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services
- Book medical appointments
- Assist physicians and medical staff with administrative tasks
- Guide patients through their various consult and testing appointments
- Prepare and submit billing to Medicare and health funds
- Work 3 days a week with the availability to work 5 days for annual leave coverage
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist, or strong customer-service history
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
