Queensland Orthopaedic Clinic is a group of like-minded, sub-specialist trained medical professionals providing personalised patient care.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Greeting patients
- Appointment bookings
- Responding to reception enquiries, telephone and incoming correspondence
- Patient database management including appointment bookings, confirmation and patient records
- Processing payments via Medicare, Eftpos, HICAPS, ECLIPSE
- Providing fee estimates, financial consent and surgical / clinic billing
- Liaising with external Health Care Professionals
- Liaising closely with the Practice Manager, Physios and Doctors to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice
Qualifications & Experiences
- Previous experience in medical specialist or general practice with minimum of 3 years as a surgical billing receptionist
- Good working knowledge of computerised practice management software ( Clinic to Cloud preferred / training provided)
- Experience with MS Office suite essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
- Passion for your role to take pride in helping the clinic be successful
