Allcare Carnes Hill Medical Centre is looking for motivated Medical Receptionists (Casual) to join a team of highly regarded health professionals. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, this challenging role will involve managing the busy front reception desk, liaising with patients, supporting doctors & medical staff as well as general administration duties. Your time-management skills and customer care skills will be fully utilized in this exciting role. It is a casual role and availability in After Hours during the week and on the weekends will be an advantage.
The Medical Centre is open all 7 days.
Mon to Friday : 8 AM to 11 PM
Sat- Sun : 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities
· Welcoming patients
· Collecting & entering patient details
· Scheduling appointments
· Patient billing & receipting
· Answering telephone calls & enquiries
· Administration support among and other ad hoc duties
Experience & Attributes
· Previous medical administration experience is essential for the role and applicants with previous exposure to a general practice setting are highly regarded.
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Pleasant & professional telephone manners
· Highly organized & detail-orientated
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Time-management skills & flexibility
· Proficient computer skills (knowledge of Pracsoft software is an advantage)
· Ability to work independently & in a team
· Capacity to work evenings and weekends
