We are an Ear Nose Throat (ENT) family Medical Practice in Coffs Harbour, offering great training, in a supportive and hard-working team environment.
We are seeking an experienced receptionist with strong administration skills to join our small friendly productive team, working every Wednesday (full day) and 2 mornings per week, to suit our surgical roster (15 hours per week). Health industry experience would be an advantage. You will also need to have flexibility to occasionally cover leave for other office staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients
- Answer and screen phone calls, take accurate messages
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients
- Light cleaning duties. Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- General office administration and stock control of office and medical supplies
- Assist with other administrative tasks to support the practice manager
- Excellent communication skills to interact in a positive/professional way with our patients and other health professionals
- Cleaning of medical devices and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, (health industry would be an advantage)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of medical software (or other databases) would be an advantage
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
