SmartClinics is Queensland's leading operator of GP medical centres, with 25 practices located across Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. We also have a Clinic in Devonport, Tasmania. Our aim is to make quality healthcare more accessible and convenient, ensuring our patients can seek medical care when and where they need it.
We are seeking to recruit Full Time Medical Receptionists to support the day to day operations of our GP Practice at SmartClinics Annerley.

An immediate start for the right candidate
Principal Responsibilities
Preparing and running patient clinics.
Taking incoming telephone calls and assisting patients with enquiries, manage patient billing and receipting, preparation and maintenance of practice scheduling, typing (medical dictation) scanning and filing.
Booking patient appointments.
Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks.
Function in a highly organised and time efficient manner at all times.
Coordinate corporate patient appointments.

Required
Demonstrated experience as a Medical Receptionist within a GP Practice
Demonstrated customer service experience
Well-developed understanding and experience with Medicare and Private billing.
Well-developed understanding of quality practice systems and implementation.
Previous experience using Best Practice, Pracsoft, Genie, Medical Director or similar medical practice software.
Demonstrates outstanding people skills with the ability to relate well to patients, health care professionals and team relations.
Demonstrate a high level of motivation and 'driven' by a busy and challenging role.
