AddressA Nephrology Practice at John Flynn Private Hospital Tugun is seeking a Receptionist to work every Tuesday, occasional Wednesdays with availability to cover leave on a Thursday. As a small team we place high value on flexibility. We are looking for a well presented individual who takes pride in their work and is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
Duties:
- Provide Reception support to Specialist Nephrologist
- Greet and manage all patients and arrange appropriate follow-up
- Manage all billing including direct patient, third parties and related reconciliation/banking processes (Medicare, DVA, health funds, personal payments)
- Provide full administrative support around document management and external correspondence
- Manage other general front office duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- A good working knowledge of computer software
- A high level of computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassion for patients while delivering efficient customer service
- Confidentiality
- Highly organised with efficient time management
- Flexibility and reliability
Desirable:
- A good working knowledge of Shexie software is desired but not essential
