Experience in a Specialist room with surgical theatre lists highly regarded. Experienced applicants only. Rate dependant on experience.

Key Requirements.
The applicant be be able to:
Act as a team member within the practice, proven capacity to work to deadlines, multitask, have excellent time management and customer service skills.
Treat the patient warmly and professionally in person and on the telephone and be the first welcoming face in the clinic.
Be responsible for reception duties and deliver high a end boutique customer service experience that is friendly, professional as well as efficient.
Actively promote the business through Google reviews, Facebook like share requests, marketing material and other avenues as directed.
Be responsible for all medical reception duties including new patient set up, preparation of patient information for surgery, practice scheduling, scanning, filing, faxing etc.
Understand and uphold at all times patient privacy and confidentiality.
Demonstrate in previous roles the capacity to; follow policies, be hard working, self driven, motivated, proven capacity to learn procedures and guidelines quickly as following them is mandatory. This is not a environment where we can accommodate people not working within the frameworks provided or outside of the procedures or performing the steps out of sequence or skipping steps due to the impact on business, patient and other team members this creates.

Demonstrate insight of the importance of maintaining checks and balances in the surgical administration pathway and the impact on the business and patient that falling short creates as well as the impact on team members.
Run routine reports including accounting and those that monitor core tasks and activities.
Demonstrate a understanding of the importance and impact a Administrator has on quality health care delivery (to the patient) and the key role the candidate has in ensuring that the patients health journey is smooth and understand the link that the patients health care is strongly based on diligence of the records kept and adherence to best practice standards by Administrators.
Work with diligence and adhere to deadlines, keep accurate records, follow procedures and book patients for appointments in accordance with practice scheduling.
Demonstrate that they can be extremely accurate when billing patients and health funds, providing fee estimates and invoicing. The candidate must proactively collect gap and services payments, prevent payment problems and diligently attend to problems in a time sensitive way if they arise and run reports of same.
Proactively learn and familiarise item code numbers and their application.
Function in a highly organized and time-efficient manner at all times juggling competing priorities and being goal-focused with ownership of deadlines.
