Medical Receptionist-Work from home
We seek a motivated and proficient Medical Receptionist to join our expanding Telehealth practice, Emindally.com. You will be a part of a dynamic and supportive team. Your role will ensure a busy practice's smooth running while actively contributing to its growth and expansion over time. Working closely with the Doctors, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing consulting days, including making patient appointments, billing, organising further investigations, and patient recalls.
- Mail and data entry
- Follow up on enquiries via Telephone.
- Ability to build and maintain professional rapport with patients to manage their smooth journey from first contact to completing appointments with the Doctor
- Provide accurate quotes for various consultations. Advise billing policy and out-of-pocket fees.
- Reconcile payments, manage billing and chase outstanding accounts.
- Practice management general tasks.
- Assist in facilitating marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Networking with GPs, other health professionals and their staff
- Opportunity to be paid a percentage for bringing in more business
About you:
- Availability Monday to Friday 9-5 pm
- Prior experience of working with Halaxy is desirable but not mandatory
- Eligibility to work in Australia (permanent resident or citizen)
- At least 4 years of previous experience in medical reception or more.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise work according to urgency.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Punctual, reliable and responsible.
- Knowledge of invoicing, receipting and chasing up accounts and debts is desirable but optional.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft, Google drive and excel .
