Your role at St John of God BerwickYou will provide administrative support to the Practice Manager and Obstetrician/Gynaecologist specialist who attend St John of God Berwick Hospital. This role encompasses all facets of customer service including booking consulting appointments, theatre bookings, patient care, all aspects of accounts including eclipse, processing pathology, cleaning, stock management and general ad hoc administrative duties.The PositionManaging appointment diary for DoctorAn understanding of the process of claiming from statutory bodies Medicare, health funds, TAC and WorkcoverSkills in Microsoft Office Suite, Gentu, Argus, Eclipse and webPAS - Genie and Clinic 2 Cloud advantageousWork days vary between Monday to Friday and 3 out of 4 Saturdays all day which would be shared with the Practice Manager - work a Saturday get a day off during the week. Start times vary between 8am and 10am and finish times vary between 4pm and 6pmExperience in gynaecology/obstetrics is preferableAll other reasonable duties as directed by the relevant Manager/SupervisorCommunicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication. You will have experience with a healthcare environment, along with flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment, expectations and timetable changes.To succeed, you will need to have the ability to prioritize tasks and workload using time management skills, work as a productive team member with superior communication skills.Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
