Receptionist key skills:
Multi-tasking, flexibility, telephone skills, customer service, time management, organisation, attention to detail, professionalism, the ability to stay calm under pressure, confidence and a sense of humour!
5 key things we are looking for:
- Customer service experience
- Confidence in managing key elements of being the first contact many of our patients have – including answering phone calls, scanning, making appointments, managing the diary, greeting patients, ordering, mail management and daily banking.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Demonstrated interest in aesthetics – we would love a previous patient or someone who has experience with surgical or non-surgical aesthetics
- Experience in a similar medical reception and administration role with Genie software experience would be advantageous but not essential
What will you do in your role?
The primary focus is to be the person who ‘wow’ patients from their first contact with us and along their journey.
This will include responding to patient email and phone enquiries, booking appointments, welcoming, and assisting patients when they visit the clinic, taking and recording patient payments, maintaining accurate patient records, stock management, liaising with external medical providers, and supporting the management team.
The role is a casual position for 2-3 full working days per week. It is a 12 month maternity cover position with the potential for an ongoing role.
