Our Medical Receptionist/Secretary provides support to all Practitioners, the Practice Manager, other Practice Secretaries and Patients. Provide excellent and caring customer service to our patients. Liaise with Practice Manager, Practitioners and Practice Secretaries for the efficient running of the practice. Greet, assist and weigh patients, schedule appointments, run clinic consulting days efficiently, maintain medical records and accounts. Patient billing and payments.
Major Duties:
Answer phones, collect mail, scanning and allocating, creating and faxing GP Letters and other correspondence, monitor and act on incoming faxes and emails, respond to new patient enquiries, maintain inventory levels & ordering (including restocking and tidying rooms). Conduct patient recalls. Preparing for each days clinics and finalizing the end of each day. Patient billing.
Locations:
Our main office location is within Lakeview Private Hospital in Bella Vista. Working at other Practice Locations in Sydney may be required.
This position is on a full time basis Monday to Friday. Previous experience in this field is preferred but not essential. Our practice specialty is upper GI surgery and weight loss surgery.
