We are a Psychiatric and Psychology Clinic based in Burleigh Waters, seeking a professional and organised person to join our reception team.
Monday to Friday (11am to 5pm) with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Availability for leave cover, RDOs and short notice sick days is a MUST. Remuneration is based on Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020.
Duties:
Screening and sorting mail, documents and telephone calls
Scheduling patient appointments and referrals
Billing patients
Maintaining office files and patient records
Appointment book management
Completing doctors letters and reports
Key Selection Criteria:
Excellent phone manner and good communication skills
Efficient note taking
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Prior administration experience
The ability to learn and pick up new skills quickly
Excellent computer skills i.e. word, excel & outlook
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
Experience with transcription and knowledge of medical terminology would be desirable
Experience with Medical Softwares; Best Practice (preferable)
Experience with billing; EFTPOS, Medicare, WorkCover etc (preferable)
You must have a valid driving license. A police check will be needed should you be a successful candidate.
