Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level executive and administrative support to the Headmaster and the Deputy Headmaster on a day-to-day basis.
The Executive Assistant works independently to perform a comprehensive range of duties that, in combination with the Headmaster and the Deputy Headmaster, provides exceptional service and engagement for all who seek consultation, leadership or management through their offices.
For this role, you will need:
- Considerable experience supporting a Senior Manager or Executive, within a large multi-tiered organisation, ideally within an educational setting.
- An extremely high regard for confidentiality, reliability and integrity in respect to all interactions with members of staff and the wider community.
- Advanced organisation, management and record keeping skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, courteous and welcoming demeanour.
- Highly developed professional written and verbal communication skills across a range of constituencies including advanced proofreading and editing skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the role.
Additional information:
- This is a full-time role, including working during school holidays and some out-of-hours commitments.
- A salary commensurate with the requirements of the role will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Other requirements include:
- Holding a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Clearance.
- Being fully supportive of Hale School’s vision, purpose and Anglican heritage.
