Where you'll be working:
- This position will see you working on-site at Manning Base Hospital in the Clinical Information Department.
- Manning Base Hospital is an acute hospital providing a broad range of specialist services to the residents of the Greater Taree, Great Lakes and Gloucester local government areas.
About the role:
- The primary role of the position is to efficiently support the Clinical Information Department by processing Medico-legal requests from various sources e.g. patients, lawyers, insurance companies, police and subpoenas.
- Manning now has a scanned medical record. This role involves extracting information from this system and several others to provide an overall picture of the patient’s care.
- The successful applicant will also be required to back-scan (scan old paper records).
- On commencement you will be provided with a combination of face to face and online training as well as a sector new staff orientation program.
About you:
- The successful applicant will need to be able to deal with competing deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- A high level of IT skills will be required.
