FightFit Boxing Centre is seeking enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our front of house team at our team down at our Col branch for 2023!
FightFit Boxing Centre is not your average gym! Rather than offering boring repetitive classes, we offer opportunities to learn new skills, get fit, and improve strength through boxing, kickboxing, strength and conditioning classes. What sets us apart from others, are our trainers who are fighters or ex-fighters with lots of industry experience who have competed or coached at elite levels nationally and internationally. One of our core values at FightFit is our strong sense of community with our members being like family, we aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone and everyone to come in and train.
You will be the friendly, welcoming face of FightFit and first point of contact for members and trials who come into the gym. This is mainly a sales focused role and as the successful candidate you will be given full ownership to deliver the Membership Sales targets. You will be responsible for converting leads and referrals into memberships as well as build and maintain good rapport with members.
Your role will also include liaising with the account manager on member accounts and membership requests as well as the operations manager on any adhoc duties regarding the front desk. You will be required to help assist in making sure the facility is kept clean and to a high standard. Additionally, you will be required to assist in the FightFit Café at South Melbourne (training provided) – making coffees, protein shakes etc primarily during off peak times at the gym.
The ideal candidates must have:
- Proven sales experience
- Admin experience
- Telemarketing experience a bonus
- Strong communications skills, face to face and over the phone
- Strong customer service skills
- Have experience with IT systems - the systems we use include but are not limited to; Microsoft Office 365, Clubware and PaySmart.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Effectively work well under pressure
- Ability to multitask, effectively managing sales and reception duties
- A 'can do' attitude and approach
- Organised and Reliable
- Driven and Motivated
- Adaptable and flexible - respond positively to change
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a good sense of humour
- Warm, friendly and approachable
- Have a keen interest in the fitness industry
- Hospitality and barista skills a bonus
More About This Role:
- Approximately 20 - 35 hours per week
- Required to help cover a range of morning and evening shifts Monday- Saturday
- Achieving sales targets will be rewarded with a bonus
- Free gym membership at all three FightFit gyms
