Job Description
In this position you will:
- Supervising, overseeing, rostering and supporting casual, part time and full-time staff with planning for Middle Years programs including budget management and reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain internal and external strategic partnerships
- Venue coordination
- Proven capacity for strategic thinking with an ability to successfully analyse complex situations, develop creative program solutions and achieve outcomes
Work 38 hours weekly with flexible scheduling as needed for hub programs. On-call availability is required for weekday evenings and Saturday daytime.
This is a hybrid role which means you can work both from home and within the offices based at Grattan Gardens Prahran.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll need to thrive:
- Experience facilitating a diverse and responsive program of activities through relative framework
- Excellent communication skills for working with a broad range of internal and externals stakeholders
- Qualification in Social Science, Youth Work or a similar field along with experience in applying relevant Acts, Regulations and Government Policies relating to Youth and Middle Years Services
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team with experience in rostering and responding to critical incidents
- Strategic thinking, budget management and project management skills
