Role Overview: MinRes is a leading mining company dedicated to delivering excellence in the mining industry.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mining Engineer to join our team at Bald Hill. Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Services, the Mining Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our operational team in the day-to-day mining operations. This role would allow you to expand your knowledge in both Drill and Blast as well as Mine Planning.
Key Responsibilities: Development and communication of weekly and daily mine plans. Creation of operational mine designs. Designing drill and blast plans.
Day-to-day reporting on mining activities. Ensuring compliance with the mine plan and reporting requirements. Utilizing CAD skills (Surpac or similar software) for mining designs.
Familiarity with scheduling software (Alastri APS or similar). Strong proficiency in MS Excel. Deliverables - People: Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or similar fields.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in open-pit mining. Team-oriented mindset, focused on quality and solutions. Adaptable to changing environments.
