ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Woolworths Team is a fun, aspirational and innovative team, building result driven leaders to a commercially sustainable future for all of CCEP, delivering through best-in-class activation & total business management.
The role of the National Account Executive is to support the Woolworths Senior National Business Manager and wider team in successfully delivering commercial outcomes. This role provides an overview of all the different functions within the Woolworths team and is a great platform for exposure to the complexities within National Accounts Management. This role will support your development to enable future career progression within At Home teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Engagement of internal team stakeholders, COEX and external stakeholders to deliver CCEP’s and the customer’s strategic plans.
- Direct support for the various Woolworths promotional programs and category strategies
- Management of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly JCP, JBP and Customer Presentations
- Support NBMs and NAMs with Range Review preparation & execution
- Collaboration with Operations, Go to Market, Customer Category Teams to deliver strategic IAP initiatives.
- Management of customer planning days and key events
- Partner in the development and review of the joint business plan for Woolworths ensuring delivery of market share growth and strong internal metrics including volume, NSR, NC and trade spend.
- Exposure to competitor landscape & operating rhythms to support building meaningful customer plans which add value.
- Support routine management to enable anticipation of competitor plans / historical references / activities required to cycle / sponsorship activation to build growth strategies for CCEP.
- Develop an understanding of the Executional process with Woolworths for minimum 13 weeks and beyond maximising CCEP portfolio.
- On occasions be responsible for project work based on key category/customer/shopper strategic initiatives.
- Support the review of initiatives and marketing investment packages ensuring alignment of the promotional calendar, execution standards and return on straights investment.
- Work with NBM’s and NAM’s on cross functional and commercial RGM peer engagement with consistency and collaboration, including total retail, category, shopper marketing and across the broader commercial team.
- Strong management routines will be required including but not limited to: Performance reporting, Promotional program development, Initiative tracking, Sales accounting, Demand planning, Field communications, Customer meetings, Team meetings, Equipment forecasts, Price changes

The successful candidate will need a solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail. You will need strong relationship skills, with the ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders. Examples of key activities include but are not limited to supporting for best practice in, partnering NBMs and NAMs on delivering CCEP and Customer commercial outcomes, management and creation of customer presentations, support for key customer interactions including planning days and range reviews, management of customer reporting routines, collaboration and execution of key customer and team events.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint Skills
- Ability to learn Software and Reporting Forecast Systems, including IRI & Acumen
- Experience in managing sophisticated customers at account or operational level.
- Demonstrated ability performing analysis and solutions-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail with the ability to present compelling business cases.
- Highly developed written and verbal skills with demonstrated experience in presenting to senior level management.
- Open mindset with a willingness to learn and explore ideas from other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple parties and tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a close team that work together to own one result.
