The Opportunity
Join our team as a National Account Manager and take charge of driving sales and shaping marketing strategies in the ever-evolving consumer electronics industry. You will be at the forefront of our success, crafting and executing innovative sales plans while collaborating closely with key accounts to achieve unprecedented growth.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop sales plans for Sell In and Sell Out, aligning them with the corporate strategy. Coordinate marketing programs and translate division targets and segment strategies into monthly forecasts and account plans.
- Oversee Quarterly Business Planning and annual Joint Business Plan, engaging with Product Marketing, Marcoms, and Retail management teams
- Coordinate with retailer and supply chain management teams for optimal forecast fulfillment and channel inventory levels.
- Set account priorities and direction for State managers and field teams to ensure in-store execution of retail strategy and promotional activities.
- Negotiate the key account promotional plan across all media and consumer touch points
- Collaborate with Key Account buying, marketing, and digital teams to execute Samsung digital promotions and events on retailer websites, social channels, and CRM.
- Manage client relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Assess impact and recommend cross-category and divisional engagement
- Analyse financial/sales/market data and provide actionable insights. Monitor competitor activity, including pricing movements and promotions.
- Ensure retailer and retailer floor staff product knowledge and selling capability through national and account-specific training
- Identify and recommend process improvements for sales planning, order process, claims processing, and resource allocation in partnership with Channel Managers
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful for the role, you should have a "can do" attitude with a proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include:
At least 5 years of National Account Management (NAM) experience preferably within Consumer Electronics and open to FMCG/Consumer Goods/Computer Hardware industry
Experience with a National Account customer level and able to demonstrate account management or category management knowledge
Proven ability to achieve specific product sales targets with forecasting experience
Previous experience in building and maintaining customer satisfaction through the development of broad customer relationships, including senior management contact
High level of business acumen with a strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of business
