About the role:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager - Retail, your primary objectives will include implementing effective sales strategies, achieving sales and margin targets, and fostering strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with the ability to deliver against the budgeted KPI’s including:
- Gross Sales and Net Sales
- Trade Spend % of Gross Sales
- Margin Contribution
- Volume/Promotions
- $ Market Share
Duties Include:
- Develop and execute an annual customer joint business plan in alignment with the National Sales Manager, corporate objectives, strategies, and initiatives.
- Plan and lead the category review process within each buying department to ensure successful review outcomes for business growth.
- Drive growth in Net Sales and deliver on marketing plans and budgeted KPI’s.
- Manage all aspects of trade spend relating to the account.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and deliver specific sales and marketing promotional opportunities.
- Facilitate workshop strategy sessions with the key stakeholders to unlock broader opportunities and consolidate longer term planning.
- Negotiation and Implementation of Pack and Price initiatives
About you:
Previous experience in the FMCG is mandatory as is the ability to execute on strategy and planning.

Your skill set will include:
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Marketing or similar
- Minimum 3 years National Account Management experience
- Strong commercial acumen, planning and organisation skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically Excel, Powerpoint and IRI data reporting
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with the ability to positively adapt to change.
- Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills
- Goal oriented and solutions driven
