Our continued expansion has created a tremendous opportunity for a suitably experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. With company owned and managed retail and service outlets, as well as local assembly capabilities, VDI have become a prized organisation to join, especially due to our increasing competitiveness and a sustained growth trajectory. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and personally committed to their success. You will be strongly supported by a highly experienced, cross functional team who are committed to your success.
Being a newly created role, you will lead the development and implementation of strategically aligned marketing and communications initiatives that directly facilitate our growing market share aspirations, optimise brand awareness, VDI’s unique value proposition and competitive advantage. This position requires a dynamic, hands on individual who possesses broad experience and skills. These range across traditional mediums such as print media and newsletters, industry exhibitions and events through to contemporary areas such as web, social, digital and electronic (eDM’s) across retail, brand, product and services marketing. Importantly, you have experience in writing and editing articles and press releases that cleverly convey key messaging.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Developing Marketing Strategies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Brand management - Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and collateral. Develop brand guidelines and ensure adherence to brand standards in all marketing materials.
Campaign planning and execution - plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to optimise our brand awareness.
Digital Marketing - Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website optimisation, social media management, online advertising, email marketing campaigns and performance metrics.
Collaboration and stakeholder management - Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product development, vehicle sales, aftersales and parts teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors as required.
