About the Company
Nature One Dairy is an Australian-owned company dedicated to producing only the highest quality powdered and liquid milk products. We produce a range of dairy products specifically designed for every age group ranging from infants to the elderly and everything in-between. Nature One Dairy products are available in Australia as well as international markets including China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Our powdered milk products are manufactured in an ISO 8 pharmaceutical grade facility based in Carrum Downs, Victoria which has been specifically designed with infant formula in mind. Our liquid milk products are manufactured in Nepean River Dairy, a wholly owned Nature One Dairy company, located in Winston Hills, New South Wales. We produce a range of fresh milk, UHT, flavoured milk, almond and soy milk, and a variety of plant-based products.
About the Position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the National Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for the company within Australia, along with account management and customer satisfaction. You will be focusing on customers in all segments from major supermarkets, independent supermarkets and retailers, to pharmacies, health food stores, OEM, e-commerce, and others.
With strong presentation and sales skills stemming from experience within the Grocery Supermarket and / or Food Services industry ideally within dairy, you will analyse available data to help identify sales and profit opportunities and assist in the development of sales strategies for national accounts.
Key Responsibilities -
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all segments with a focus on high volume and multi-site businesses
- Maintain relationship with key accounts and drive existing business through retention and maximising sales and market share across all channels
- Formulate and implement sustainable sales strategies, sales forecast, reports, budgets to achieve both sales targets and company's objectives
- Support the execution of effective promotional plans for NOD products, including managing the administration of promotional forms and submissions to grocery supermarkets and pharmacies
- Evaluate and understand competitor performance, including reviewing pricing and promotions
- Lead in the preparation of category reviews, working collaboratively with the category team
- Work closely with Head of Marketing to identify and formulate marketing strategies in Australia to derive optimal sales conversion results
- Work closely with Operations teams of both Powder and Liquid divisions to align customer delivery dates against production schedules.
Key Requirements -
- An established track record of developing and winning new business and building relationships and business with new customers within a competitive FMCG
- Extensive experience in sales administration and supply chain with competency in CRM reporting and analytics
- You have strong commercial sales acumen and analysis skills to effectively manage sales volume and margin and provide customers with a tailored solution that is mutually beneficial
- Excellent communication with outstanding relationship-building skills
- Are a confident presenter who is equally comfortable presenting to a room of potential new customers as you are one-on-one
- Time will be spent on the road and in front of customers therefore you will need to be a tech-savvy self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously as well as being a key team player within a growing company
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the dairy industry - Highly regarded.
