About the role
The Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing campus and data centre network installations, as well as monitoring and maintaining the organisations System Groups network and evaluating new network hardware and software and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
We have one permanent full-time position available with location negotiable within NSW (subject to campus availability).
About You
As a key member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will provide engineering and design support and leadership for engineers and team members and champion the strategy, roadmap and architecture across the network, voice, and cloud services. We are seeking a capable and energetic IT professional to join our team where you will apply your industry knowledge to secure, innovate and build strategies that will foster data, voice and cloud network processes whilst monitoring & analysis of complex network problems to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Highly Regarded
- Demonstrated experience with several of the following: Cisco Routers, Next Generation Firewalls FTDs/FMC,Fortigate, Netscalers, Azure/AWS Administration, Juniper MIST, Cisco ISE, WSAs, Aruba Wi-fi and LAN.
- Applied understanding of VXLAN, VPN, BGP and OSPF.
- Experience in transitioning workload from on-premise data centres to Cloud hosted capabilities
- Proven ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment with competing demands across incident and project management activities.
