Your Impact
We are looking for a motivated sales professional with a desire to generate new business and join our team in an exciting period of growth. Reporting to the State New Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development of new business for the Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (ALB) brands in Victoria. We’re immensely proud of our large portfolio of non-alcoholic beverages consumers know and love - think Schweppes, Cool Ridge, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, and Lipton just to name a few!
The territory will cover a region of metro and outer Melbourne focusing on customers from multiple segments, such as restaurants, cafes, takeaway, leisure, education and many more.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all retail segments with a focus on high volume and multi-site businesses.
Gain a deep understanding of your customers’ needs and leverage this with the ALB Portfolio and business objectives.
Deliver New Business Partnerships with Key customers and follow the end-to-end process from Presenting and Negotiating to Onboarding and handing over to the Account Management Team.
Use our CRM System to build and manage your New Business ‘Pipeline’.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Field Managers to effectively transition new business customers over to Territory Managers and Business Development Managers.
Engagement of all stakeholders within ALB and CUB businesses.
About You
You have exceptional people and organisational skills that allow you to work well with a variety of stakeholders and you can quickly build strong working relationships.
In addition, you:
Have sales experience within a corporate environment. FMCG experience is highly advantageous.
You are passionate about customers and consumers whilst being agile and resilient.
You have strong commercial sales acumen and analysis skills to effectively manage Sales volume and margin and provide customers with a tailored solution that is mutually beneficial.
You are a confident presenter who is equally comfortable presenting to a room of potential new customers as you are 1 to 1.
Have excellent time management and an organised approach to planning in advance.
You have your finger on the pulse and think outside the box.
Most of your time will be spent on the road and in front of customers therefore you will need to be a tech-savvy self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously as well as being a key team player within a large state and National business.
