The Position:
Our ideal candidate would be results driven, with a B2B background and someone who knows the meaning of providing a premium experience to our customers.
Experience in the Consumer Automotive Electronics industry isn’t necessary, however, you will need to show the willingness to dive in and learn quickly if you want to make the transition to the industry.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a similar position, developing markets and strengthening existing accounts.
- A consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s product requirements, including recommending products to customers based on their needs and interests.
- Attentiveness to the client relationship following up on leads, attending to client requests, responding to the client in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail to create quotations, tenders, proposals, presentations, and marketing material that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
- Be well organised and effectively manage time and tasks including travel planning schedules.
- The ability to work side by side with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from order to dispatch.
- Have understanding of the Automotive Industry including OEM (original equipment manufacturing)
Your duties will include:
- Understanding, presenting and demonstrating the Zylux product range.
- Service & maintain existing customer base.
- Seek out new prospective clients
- Balancing multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Working and thinking independently, with the necessary resources available to assist where required.
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Working effectively with all levels within the organization, as well as with external contacts.
- Regular use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Adobe).
- Prepare sales presentations
- Attend Customer Meetings, Training and Information Sessions
- Some travel will be required to attend meetings locally & nationally
