The Division of Paediatric Medicine is the largest Women's and Children's Hospital division and aims to provide high quality health care for children and young people in an environment which meets their needs and the needs of their families.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within the Division of Paediatric Medicine to join us as a Nurse Educator, RN3 on a Term Contract (up to 28th June 2024), in a part-time capacity.
This role is Responsible for:
- Offering educational and training assistance to designated groups of wards/units or specific nurses.
- Delivering educational support within a specified educational or training domain.
- Directing and guiding projects, programs, and/or research endeavors to enhance educational outcomes and/or service provision.

About you
To be successful in this role you would need to be:
- Proficient in leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- Innovative, creative, and adaptable in educational hospital settings.
- Skilled in delivering high-quality presentations and coordinating education programs.
- Experienced in managing workloads effectively under pressure.
- Able to promote consumer engagement and manage change.
- Have been a registered Nurse with at least 3 years of clinical or managerial experience.
- Competent in nursing education, applying relevant theory, and meeting practice standards.
- Knowledgeable in Work Health and Safety, continuous improvement, Quality Improvement Systems, and nursing/midwifery issues, including mandatory notifications and consumer rights.
