Our Opportunity
Agestrong Health Group seeks to appoint a dedicated and experience Casual/ Short Term Locum / Sub-contracting Occupational Therapist to join our talented Allied Health team in Perth, WA.
The successful candidate will have a broad skill set and enjoys working within the residential Aged Care environment. You have a passion for assisting and improving the health of your patients through occupational therapy.
Duties
- You will provide comprehensive functional and cognitive assessments within the residential Aged Care setting;
- Assess and prescribe falls prevention interventions and pressure care equipment, along with other equipment to aid safe completion of PADL's;
- Completion of powered device safety assessments and equipment trials;
- Complete social assessment and contribute to the development of appropriate lifestyle and diversional activities to enhance wellbeing and encourage improved function/ QOL;
- You will have the capacity to make recommendations for other supports and services to ensure patients receive the most adequate care available.
Start: Early April
Location: North of River, Perth, WA
About You
You are a clinician who is always learning and improving your practise and you are passionate about supporting team members. You are a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, who has a strong commitment to patient care. New graduates welcome to apply.
The successful candidate must have a current driver’s license and own vehicle.
