Occupational Therapist - Contracting Opportunities

We're seeking an contracting Occupational Therapists in Melbourne

We are expanding our Occupational Therapy teamin Melbourne as we provide assessment and ongoing therapy services to our NDIS clients. We are a National organisation with services offered throughout Australia in person or via tele-health. You will work with people over the age of 7 and up to 65. You may have a background in paediatrics or adult mental health, we will work with your preferences.

You'll be working within the Take Charge professional framework and we will complete all of the administration and back end work so that you can focus squarely on your clients. We will work with you with regards to your availability, client work preferences and geographic preferences.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Have full AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years clinical OT experience in the health or disability areas
• May have experience working with adult clients with various physical and cognitive disabilities ( including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, ABI, Intellectual Disability and chronic health conditions)
• May have experience in paediatrics
• Experience completing NDIA Functional Capacity Assessments, 
• Assistive Technology Assessments, home assessments and modifications is desirable but not essential
• Be able to work autonomously
• Liaise regularly with our Senior Occupational Therapist as well as our Director of Systems and Resourcing
• Participate in professional development activities
