Occupational Therapist

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paediatric Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing support for children’s participation and independence leading to quality educational outcomes for children. This is a part-time, 3-day-per-week role or could be considered two days, based between our fabulous office in Southbank, home and in our Campuses across Melbourne. 

The role involves undertaking screenings and informal observations as well as providing appropriate campus strategies; giving strategies and guidance to support children and their families; delivering education to team members; ensuring an understanding of the allied health specialist support available to all.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We'd love to talk to you if you have around 3 years or more of experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy, in addition to:

• A relevant and accredited Occupational Therapy degree
• Registration through AHPRA is essential
• Solid understanding of the Australian and Victorian healthcare system, and a broad range of disciplines as they relate to children's health and development services
• Commitment to the National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early childhood Intervention
• Current Working with Children check and current Drivers Licence
