Position Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Administration Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Accountants and Partners, managing office tasks efficiently, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
General Administrative Duties:
- Perform various administration duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing incoming and outgoing postal correspondence.
- Maintain and order office supplies including stationary and groceries and, placing orders when required.
- Assist with preparing meetings rooms in anticipation for client meetings
- Ensure the office environment is tidy, organized, and well-maintained.
- Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and various other governing bodies.
- Collating Client Deliverables
Client Assistance:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist in handling client inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain client databases and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role in an accounting firm is highly favourable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail is imperative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
- Australian residency or valid work permit.
