About Us: PKM Earthmoving is a leading Civil Earthworks company in South East Qld, known for our top-notch work and problem-solving skills. We're expanding and need the best talent to join our team.
Your Role: As an Office Administrator, you'll assist the Office Manager with various tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
Location: the office is in Chandler, QLD (N.B. we are relocating to bigger premises in Mt Cotton later in the year)
Responsibilities:
- Set up job files and packs for site crews.
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable, invoicing and payment claims.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication.
- Assist with creating and documenting processes and procedures.
- Process timesheets and prepare payroll.
- General admin duties (scanning, filing, mail, inbox management).
- Use online job management programs (e.g., Ascora, Sim-Pro).
Requirements:
- Team player and independent worker.
- Highly organized and motivated.
- Experienced in office administration (civil/construction preferred).
- Proficient in XERO or similar accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- 1+ year of relevant experience.
